Our sources

Every deduction guide on TaxSaver Pro is based on official IRS publications, forms, and instructions. For each deduction we explain, we link to the specific IRS source so you can read the rule in the IRS's own words.

How we write

We write in plain English so owners can understand and act on each rule without an accounting background. We describe what the rule allows, what it requires, and the records you need to support it. We do not provide personalized tax advice or tell you what to claim on your return.

Keeping content current

Every page shows a "Last updated" date. When IRS rules, thresholds, or mileage rates change, we update the affected guide and refresh that date. If you spot something that looks out of date, let us know.

Educational, not tax advice

TaxSaver Pro provides educational guidance only. It is not tax, legal, or accounting advice, and using it does not create a CPA-client or attorney-client relationship. Tax rules vary by jurisdiction and change over time. You are responsible for confirming any deduction against current IRS rules and your own records, and for consulting a licensed tax professional before filing.
